Consent

We will discuss the importance of particular sections in your binders. The preoperative consent is one of the most crucial aspects of your clinical practice. During this section of the course we will discuss the importance of the consent, full disclosure of risks and benefits of the surgical procedure. At the very minimum you will leave this course with a copy of our surgical consent which will protect you in the case of a legal incident, as opposed to the hospital consents which concentrate solely on protecting the facility.
